On March 13, 2025, Mrs. Thunphitcha Theraratchanon, Director of the 2nd Regional Office of Agricultural Economics (Director of ROAE2), along with Mr. Warit Chusakun, Director of Research and Evaluation Division, held a discussion meeting under the academic cooperation agreement (MOU) between Office of Agricultural Economics (OAE) and Mahasarakham University (MSU) for the 1st time/2025 via Zoom Cloud Meeting online, attended a meeting with faculty members from Mahasarakham University, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Piyaphat Busababadin, Deputy Dean for Research, Innovation and Organizational Potential Development, Faculty of Science, as a representative of the President of Mahasarakham University and representatives from the Agricultural Research Development Agency (ARDA).

In this meeting, To consider the appointment of a joint academic cooperation committee between OAE and MSU, including operational guidelines or joint project plans to meet the objectives of developing agricultural academic capabilities, jointly creating works in analysis, research, and innovation, as well as integrating databases for exchanging, linking, and disseminating information. We were honored to have Prof. Nader Tajvidi, Department of Mathematics, Lund University, Sweden, present the agricultural product insurance system.
